Increased energy density

The treatment starts with a sequence of Red and Infrared light through an array. This provides a global affect to the treatment area, providing the benefits of photobiomodulation (Low Level laser therapy/LLLT) to a larger area thus increasing the systemic effects of healing (increased oxygen to the blood, improved circulation to the tissue, stem cell activation). This is followed up with the laser therapy (either infrared, red or both, depending on the condition). The laser provides targeted energy to the specific area of concern increasing the overall energy density in the area. This combined approach significantly improves outcomes.

Decreased recovery time and faster healing.

The physiological effects of LLLT (photobiomodulation) increase healing and decrease recovery time by increasing blood supply, collagen production, muscle regeneration, nerve regeneration, cartilage production, bone formation, neovascularization and decreases inflammation and edema. This occurs from the effects of the light wavelengths on red and white blood cells directly affecting the mitochondria. Research has shown increased healing time being 50% faster with the use of LLLT.
