Profiles | Lori McGinnis
When I was growing up I wanted to be Bruce Springsteen’s girlfriend or Indiana Jones. Somehow I lost my way and became a nationally certified personal trainer with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Winnipeg instead. Now I can’t imagine not being active! My passion is the promotion and adherence to health; showing people how easy it can be to start and maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle. I genuinely enjoy learning and applying new information to my practice. Whether it’s introducing you to resistance exercise for the first time, complementing your existing fitness routine, or adding that new twist to keep things fresh, fun and challenging, I look forward to working with you.
Before working at Advantage I worked independently as a personal trainer/wellness consultant, leading bootcamps outside, conducting the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation for the R.C.M.P. and I still work as a certified C.P.R./basic life support instructor.
Little known fact: I’m allergic to wine.
My best day:
Seeing my niece look at me like I’m the coolest human being on the planet.
