Here are the major benefits of following a six meals a day diet:

  • more energy
  • less hunger
  • maintain a higher metabolism
  • reduced food cravings
  • control of blood sugar levels & insulin production
  • reduction of body fat
  • maintain & increase lean muscle mass

It takes planning, preparation, and persistence to get into the habit of eating this frequently. When you’re eating six meals a day, you must prepare your food well ahead of time.  Make use of ‘portable’ foods like whey protein powder, hard boiled eggs, fruit, canned tuna, beef/turkey jerky, prepared chicken, nuts, seeds, beans, etc.
